Back to School Recruitment 2025-26
Our pack is getting smaller and more scouts due to cross over at the end of this year. We need your help recruiting new scouts! We will have materials to set up at our three designated schools (Carlisle, Schultz, and Woodward).
Back to School Open House FALL 2025 TBA 4:30-6PM
We need parents and scouts to cover the table during this time and share your experience with scouts. Ideally, we would like at least 1 adult and 1 scout at the table at all times. If we can get 3 adults and 3 scouts, that would be only 30 minutes for each set and allow everyone to still attend the open house for their child(ren).
If you would like more information on this role, please contact the Cubmaster directly or email the pack. If you are ready, sign up now!
Cubmaster and Assistant Cubmaster
Current Cubmaster will be crossing over in February 2026 and we need to cover this departure now in order to have adequate training time.
Duties:
Conducts monthly Pack meeting. Aids Den Leaders by coordinating monthly program for all leaders. Attends monthly committee meeting. Has one or more assistants.
Assistant Cubmaster helps Cubmaster as needed to help den leaders, set up and clean up before/after meetings, plan the pack programming and also helps with the Den Chief program.
Community Service Coordinator
Not a trained position. We need 1-2 volunteers to assist the Cubmaster with finding Community Service opportunities for our Pack. Involves researching and contacting different area organizations for service opportunities, ensuring the community service project will work for the size of our pack, and communicating with CM on best dates and times to plan these outings. We aim for 3-4 community service projects per year.
Quartermaster
This is a trained position. It involves keeping inventory of all Pack equipment. You also need to ensure that the equipment (kept in basement of the church and the Pack trailer) is organized and in good working order. The quartermaster is a committee member and should attend monthly committee meetings (in person or Zoom) when necessary.
Pinewood Derby Committee Winter 2026
Not a trained position. We need 1 Committee chair and 4-6 committee members. Involves preparing and decorating room or hall, learning race software operations and running software during event, attending tune-up night, coordinating and set-up of other race day activities(crafts, food, entertainment), track set-up, and finally tear down after event. The fun and success of this event relies solely on Parent Volunteers!
Camp Kitchen Committee
Fall Campout & Spring Campout
Not a trained position. We need 1 Committee chair and 2-3 committee members to coordinate all things food related for the Pack campouts. Involves menu planning within the Pack budget, shopping, packing food, getting it to camp and leading the Scouts as they prepare and serve it. You also need to familiarize yourself with the Pack's kitchen supplies, how to set up and tear down the kitchen, and how to properly clean and store everything in the Pack trailer.
Parents pitching in owith Kitchen duties allows your Cubmaster and Den Leaders to focus on the camp program and activities.
