Camping
Pack 318 typically has two campouts during the school year; one in the fall and one in the spring. During the campouts the scouts have a chance to work with their Dens on outdoor advancement requirements. The Cubmaster will plan additional activities including: hiking, fishing, creeking, cooking, learning camp skills, and partaking in campfire skits and songs. The Scouts will also get an opportunity to learn how to prepare and serve a meal as each Den will be responsible for one of the meals.
The entire family is invited to Pack campouts. Scouts and families can come out the entire weekend or as their schedules allow. Scouts and families are responsible for bringing their own personal equipment, however the Pack does have some supplies on a first come first serve basis. If you need assistance with equipment, please ask!
We have 4 camp locations within our Council. Here is a link to learn more about them! We typically camp at Camp Lazarus, but are excited to try new camping opportunities as well.
We require that 1 parent be with their Scouts while they are on camp.
**You can find the commitment form for each campout on the Forms Page.**
