Communications
Communication is important to any organization and a Cub Scout Pack is no exception. Pack 318 uses the following methods to organize and communicate.
Note: Each Den Leader will establish the communication method with their Den parents to communicate Den activities. It may be through the app or another preference of communication such as email, text, or Facebook.
Pack Email
The Pack has an email box that is regularly monitored. Communications may be sent to and from that address. Parents are encouraged to use the Band App to facilitate interaction across the entire Pack. Chances are if you have a question, someone else might have the same question. For questions that are more for your specific needs, feel free to email the committee at:
DelawarePack318@gmail.com
Scoutbook
Scoutbook is the BSA online software for tracking scout's progress on requirements. Parents should ensure they have access to Scoutbook to follow their scouts progress and rank advancements. Parents will be required to do some rank requirements with their scout at home and will submit those completions via Scoutbook.
Parents for new joiners will receive an email from Scoutbook when their Scout has been established in the Scoutbook system.
The Pack has a Facebook presence but it should not be considered a primary method of communication. We have a public Facebook page mainly used for recruitment purposes, as well as private groups for Pack and Dens. Parents that utilize Facebook may request to join the private Facebook group if they have a Scout active in the Pack.
