What is Cub Scouts?
Cub Scouts is a program within the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) that serves boys AND girls from 5 to 11 years old. The Cub Scouts program aims to prepare youth to grow into self-reliant and dependable adults. Pack 318 serves Delaware Ohio and is part of the Polaris District and Simon Kenton Council. Our Scouts are recruited from Schultz, Woodward, and Carlisle Elementary but anyone may join our Pack regardless of location or school. We strive to be a family oriented program offering a range of meetings with Den (grade specific group) and Pack (all of the Dens together) as well as opportunities for hiking, camping, archery, BB, fishing, community service, and conservation projects. There are also STEM projects like building pinewood derby cars or air powered bottle rockets.
BSA Mission
To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
